'NO MASS TODAY' says the sign. Or maybe 'NO MASS THIS WEEK'. It happens so frequently these days. Whatever the reason, the underlying cause is the shortage of priests. Since many altar-boys become priests, why are we discouraging altar-boys? We do this by having altar-girls, since the more masculine altar-boys who become priests will not frequent the areas dominated by girls. So to get more priests, why not stop the invasion of the altar by women altogether? A few years ago no woman would presume to enter the sanctuary. That was back in the days when 80% of Catholics practised their faith. Compared with fewer than 10% in some parishes today. I believe that Catholics know what has to be done. Who will go first? January 2024 Our Blessed Mother is recognised by Catholics as the most powerful woman of all time. Back in the days of Lourdes and Fatima she had no trouble in getting her message across. Skeptical bishops were persuaded to approve her appearance in Lourdes after less than four years. At Fatima the bishop approved the apparitions rapidly, formally announcing Fatima as worthy of belief in 1930. But now it seems that her power is waning. After more than 60 years she has been unable to convince even one of seven bishops of Santander that she had appeared back in 1961 at Garabandal. At Medjugorje it is more than 40 years and three bishops. How many years do we wait until those promoting these phenomena in Queensland parishes start asking questions? Roman Catholic Diocese of Santander - Wikipedia List of Roman Catholic bishops of Mostar-Duvno - Wikipedia Church Approval and Attack on Fatima (1930-2004) | The Fatima Center The recognition of the Lourdes Apparitions - Sanctuaire Notre-Dame de Lourdes (lourdes-france.com) July 2023 I have wondered why we have not heard any denunciation from Church authorities of those men publicly wearing women's clothes. Drag queens parade around New York City chanting, ‘We’re coming for your children’ Yet the Bible tells us that cross-dressers are an abomination. Deuteronomy 22:5 A woman must not wear men's clothing, and a man must not wear women's clothing, for whoever does these things is detestable to the LORD your God. (biblehub.com) However, it could be argued that this horse has long bolted. More than 50 years ago, when women started wearing trousers to Sunday Mass, I can't remember any serious objection from the pulpit. What will happen when men come to Mass dressed as women? September 2022 Our Blessed Mother, at Fatima, told us that "fashions will be introduced which will greatly offend my Son". What did she mean? The most reasonable answer is that she was referring to our mode of dress, and particularly among women. Many have taken this as a reference to immodest beachwear or perhaps short skirts. Brief beach attire was around even before the apparitions at Fatima, and perhaps also short skirts. But the latter have come and gone, and seem less likely to be the most serious present threat to decency. Almost 20 years after Our Lady's visit to Fatima, a Hollywood idol started wearing men's clothing. This is explicitly banned by God (Deuteronomy 22:5). The war saw many female factory workers wear overalls. But in public women wore decent clothes. Today, however, women everywhere are wearing men's clothes. What seems really offensive is that we see women at the altar handling the Blessed Sacrament while wearing trousers. It is not impossible that the priest would like to protect the Blessed Sacrament but is surrounded by hostile feminist activists. Since the wearing of men's clothing is clearly against God's law, should we not be taking Our Blessed Mother's warning more seriously? Or do we think there are no consequences? Marlene Dietrich as Amy Jolly Wearing a Men’s Tuxedo With Top Hat in ‘ Morocco’ (1930) | Vintage News Daily September 2022 Visiting a Catholic college I was staggered at the preponderance of women of child-bearing age on the staff. Who is raising their children? Who is managing the home? But even more concerning, are they having all the children God wishes to send them? Or is it possible that they are permanently on some form of contraception forbidden by God? And that raises a most awful possibility. Is the Catholic Church Australia's largest private employer of women in a permanent state of mortal sin? January 2022 There is a question raised in Amoris Laetitia that really needs to be addressed. In paragraph 297, Francis says: No one can be condemned for ever, because that is not the logic of the Gospel! No matter how one looks at this paragraph and its surrounding context, it is quite difficult for a Catholic layman to interpret this as anything but the outright denial of an eternal Hell. Given that an eternal Hell is defined infallibly by the Church, it is not unreasonable to conclude that the statement is heretical. And the Church says that heretics are subject to automatic excommunication. That is, such heresy would seem to make Francis a non-Catholic. Taking this further, since we cannot have a non-Catholic pope, the logical conclusion must be that Francis is not Pope. And that Benedict remains our true Pope. Further, this would mean that any decisions made by Francis, such as changes to access to the Traditional Latin Mass, are null and void, meaning that not only are we not bound to follow them, but we are bound not to follow them. If this argument has any merit, it would seem that the Church is in real trouble, since apart from the Dubia, the world's bishops seem to have taken the contradiction remarkably quietly, given that Amoris Laetitia was issued more than 5 years ago. Of course, there is the possibility that they all agree with Francis. November 2021 The Church teachers that husband and wife are a single unit (Mark 10:9). That unit is headed by the husband (Eph. 5:24, 1 Cor. 11:3; Col. 3:18; Tit. 2:3-5; 1 Pet. 3:1-5). When wives are permitted to vote, this provides for dividing what God has joined, and is thus anti-Christian, pitting wife against husband. I have not heard a single bishop or priest raise this injustice. Or have I simply misunderstood what I had thought was clear teaching from God October 2021
So many times we hear from the pulpit that the government has to give more money to the poor around the world. It sounds virtuous, but in fact this is theft. Governments are not there to help the poor. Governments don't have any money. The money belongs to us, not to the virtue-signalling politicians. Helping the poor comes from the people themselves. Many countries live on the generous remittances from individuals in the Western world. So if this money is reduced through governments' following the advice of priests and bishops, whether by extra taxation, printing money or reduction in services, there are families in the Third World who are going to face real starvation and death from hunger or suicide. The money which would have kept them alive has instead found its way into the Swiss bank accounts of dictators and politicians. Help the poor, yes. But not with other people's money. September 2021 (to the Catholic Weekly) Over the years I have lived in quite a few places. In one parish where I used to go to Mass, they have a new parish priest. He has decreed that all female parishioners wear female clothing to Mass. No jeans, no trousers, no shorts. In another former parish, no girl enters the church without having her head covered. What next? Will priests start saying Mass in Latin? September 2021 The Blessed Virgin has been appearing on earth for centuries. She had no trouble convincing bishops at Rue du Bac, Lourdes, La Salette and Fatima of her presence on earth, and so these sites merit the approval of the Church. But it seems that her power is waning. After 40 years of appearing daily to people at Medjugorje, Our Blessed Mother has failed to convince the three bishops over that period that she really is present there in his diocese. Even stranger, she has had 60 years to convince the bishops of Santander that she is appearing at Garabandal, but not one of these nine bishops there thought she had visited their diocese. And yet, what bishop worth his salt would not welcome an apparition of Our Blessed Mother in his diocese? There are two alternatives here. Either Our Lady does not have enough power to persuade even one out of ten bishops over a period of decades. Or maybe she has in fact not been there at all. Which of these two alternatives is more reasonable? And why are there otherwise-good Catholics who promote these sites against the expressed orders of the bishops of these sites? Statements from the Bishops of Santander - Garabandal Local Bishop: Medjugorje Apparitions Are Not Credible (total-croatia-news.com) August 2021 It seems incredible how easily Christians have accepted a vaccine produced as a result of the murder of unborn children. It is not unlike accepting an organ transplant from someone who was executed for that purpose. And whilst the muted opposition from Catholic bishops around the world is to be expected, given their performance in earlier moral controversies, what is perhaps less expected is the active promotion of these tainted vaccines on the part of many. It could be argued that getting knowingly vaccinated with tainted material makes us accessories to murder. Please prove me wrong. Catholics in Australia encouraged to receive COVID-19 vaccine Australian Bishops urge Catholics to get vaccinated amid push for more vaccine options - The Catholic Leader FAQS and Guidance for the Catholic community in Australia regarding a COVID-19 vaccine Catholics in Australia encouraged to receive COVID-19 vaccine - ACBC Media Blog August 2021 With the legislation approving same-sex marriage now behind us, the government has in effect labelled Christianity as a false religion, since Christianity teaches that sodomitic activities are an abomination. I should have thought that this might energise our religious leaders to publicly condemn those Catholic MPs who supported this legislation. Given that these Catholic MPs have scandalously and openly opposed divine law, are they not automatically excommunicated? At the very least it should merit an instruction to deny the Blessed Sacrament to those in manifest grave sin. Am I missing something here? August 2021 The punishment of Israel Folau for defending Christianity has started to fade from public memory. Yet was he not fulfilling Christ's demand to teach all nations? Should this not be done in season and out of season? Yet not a few of our Christian leaders sat by in silence while he was vilified by the media and politicians. As if teaching the truths of Christianity was somehow not their job. And Israel Folau was left to his fate, largely undefended. Is it not possible that the general population will draw the conclusion that homosexual activity is not the problem of the Church? Just an alternative lifestyle, for which there are no eternal consequences? Should something be done to awaken the general population to the real situation? That Israel Folau's clear statement that sin unrepented results in eternal and agonising death is exactly what the Church should be teaching from the housetops? Or should we just let people find out for themselves? August 2021 Interfaith marriage between Catholics and Muslims is difficult for both faiths. Catholics face a ban on interfaith marriage, but there are ways around this. Muslims allow Muslim men to marry Catholic women, but forbid Muslim women from marrying Catholic men. However, when a Catholic woman marries a Muslim man, the matter rests with her conscience. On the other hand, when a Muslim woman marries a Catholic man, she is exposed to a sentence of death, where society makes this practical, such as in areas with significant Muslim populations. If this death penalty could be removed, what difference would it make? It is not impossible that Muslim women, for the first time in history able to choose their own husbands, would opt for Christian husbands. And Islam would disappear within a generation. For this reason Muslims must retain the death penalty for such marriage. And honour killings will surface from time to time as Muslim girls try to assert some form of independence. The question arises: Does the present situation not appear unjust to Catholic leaders? And if so, what is to be done? (danniehawley.com) 16 Whereas a Christian was allowed to convert to Islam a Muslim was forbidden | Course Hero August 2021 It's the new normal to see women in the sanctuary during Mass. One wonders how God must feel to see some of them wearing trousers or other attire more appropriate for males. Back in the old days Deuteronomy 22:5 was taken seriously: A woman must not wear men’s clothing, nor a man wear women’s clothing, for the LORD your God detests anyone who does this. Somehow over the years we have decided that parts of the Bible which don't suit us no longer apply. And traditions of the Church can be overruled by custom: Feminist Ideology and the Roman Liturgy But the Bible clearly says that God detests women who wear men's clothes. Who wants to be detested by God? August 2021 Having grandchildren I sometimes need to collect children from Catholic schools. I have been struck by the huge numbers of women teaching there, many of childbearing age. The question naturally arises, how do they manage to raise their children? Or are they not having children? Given that God has made it clear that husbands and wives are supposed to raise all the children He wishes to send them, is no one concerned at the possibility of massive disobedience to Humanae Vitae? Of course, it is possible that these Catholic teachers have never heard of Humanae Vitae, since they are not old enough to have heard about it from the pulpit. Given the continued reports that only about 2% of Catholic children continue with their faith after leaving Catholic schools, is it not a matter of urgency that someone start to teach these Catholic women about the faith they need to have for their salvation? August 2021 Every day we see elderly females in highly-paid positions, telling us how we ought to live. Now I should have thought that 1 Tim 2:12 would alert our Christian leaders to publicly address what seems to be a direct affront to Christianity. The suggestion could arise that it might be better for society if these women could remain in the home, minding their grandchildren. Further, is there any truth to the suggestion that they are taking a job, indeed, a career and a future, from a breadwinner and his family? Now some might think that St Paul was just a misogynist. But aren't his letters guaranteed by the Holy Spirit? Whose task should it be to correct what seems to be an unnatural situation? June 2021 Parents have come to understand that if they want their children to learn the Catholic Faith, they must homeschool them or send them to Protestant schools. If ever we wanted evidence of this, the enabling of the homosexual agenda at St Pat's provided more than enough. March 2021 After nine years at a Catholic school, my grandson revealed that he had never heard mention of the 'Hail Mary'. If teachers had never got around to mentioning the physical arrival on earth of the Son of God, I wondered what else they had failed to teach. The commandments? The sacraments? The life of Christ? Morals? Sin? The four last things? I have heard the arguments. You can't frighten kids with stories of the afterlife. Mustn't talk about Hell or anything like that. Yet Our Blessed Mother showed Hell to a seven-year-old girl. And that girl became a saint. So my question is: Did Our Lady commit an offence? If not, then why do our religious authorities not insist on teaching about Hell to all those children whose parents are paying for a Catholic education? February 2021 (to the Catholic Weekly) I live in a parish of about 12 000 Catholics. Between 300 and 400 come to Mass on Sunday, almost all advanced in age. In five years many if not most will be gone, and the Church perhaps sold to become a mosque. Nobody ever mentions that Sunday Mass is required under pain of mortal sin. So if the saints are to be believed, and people almost always die in the state that they have lived, more than 97% of the parish will be damned for eternity. Since the laws of the Church are well known even to Protestants, it is not really logical for Catholics to plead ignorance at judgement. But it is not impossible that God will demand justice also at the hands of those bishops and priests who fail to teach what is necessary for salvation. Do we want the overwhelming majority of Catholics spending eternity in the horrific torments of Hell? If not, what needs to be done? And who should do it? February 2021 To Chesterton is attributed the quotation that when man stops believing in God, he will believe in anything. The forces of darkness have a substitute religion ready for ex-Christians. Now we have people believing in the terrors of global warming, in the dangers of covid-19, and that illegal immigrants are somehow good for Australia. This religion even has sacraments, such as abortion, contraception and sodomy. It has dogma: racism and sexism. Its temples are the schools and universities, and its preachers are found in the media. Notice the permanent nature of these doctrines. Covid-19 was supposed to end with the flattening of the curve. Then with the vaccine. But no, it is finding its way to reconfigure itself more or less until doomsday, to the delight of those who stand to profit. Not so many years ago this silliness would have been laughed out of existence within a week, and its fraudulent nature exposed by Christian leaders. Not any more. Who bears the responsibility for exposing this false religion? February 2021 (to the Catholic Weekly) We have the phenomenon, in the People's Republic of Victoria, of a 'Catholic' premier issuing edicts which are at odds with Catholic teaching. How can he claim to be a Catholic? He is obstinately pro-abortion, pro-sodomy and violently against the seal of the confessional. What can be done to save the souls endangered by his leadership? First, the bishops can declare him excommunicated. Publicly. And require him to stop referring to himself as Catholic. Second, they can advise Catholics that voting for him and his party, Australia-wide, is mortally sinful for all Catholics. Politicians might not have a great fear of God, but they are terrified of losing votes. Third, they can publish this information using Catholic media, the pulpit and Catholic schools. We are now forced to tolerate the sight of men kissing each other, unless we can get to the remote in time. The worst offender is perhaps the ABC, the collector of funds forcibly taken from us in taxes. Where are the outcries? The joke is on all of us obliged to fund the ABC – Quadrant Online https://quadrant.org.au/opinion/media/2021/01/the-joke-is-on-all-of-us-obliged-to-fund-the-abc/ December 2020 (to the Catholic Weekly) Strange things have come from the Vatican over the last seven years or so. So strange that four cardinals felt it necessary to ask Francis for a dubious explanation. This seems to have been ignored so effectively that two of the cardinals have died waiting for an answer which never came. And so we write to bishops, asking for a clarification on things like 'Is there no longer an eternal Hell?', which appears in Amoris Laetitia 297. Where else should we go? After all, bishops are required to teach the faith and clear up ambiguities. But the silence has been so complete and enduring that there is the temptation to suspect a conspiracy of silence, somewhat like that prophesied by St Pius X in Pascendi Dominici Gregis. If our queries are somehow incorrect, inadequate or trivial, or simply display our ignorance, is it not a matter of charity to let us know? But if they are of the kind which requires the attention of a bishop, why the silence? In a few months there may be another attempt to raise the forbidden topic of the ordination of women, and perhaps other matters alien to Catholic belief. If these are not nipped in the bud (and so far they seem to remain up for discussion), is it not impossible that a heresy will rubber-stamp some serious clerics out of the Church? Where will faithful Catholics go then to find the true Church? November 2020 Once upon a time Catholics were able to enjoy gentle organ music which accompanied the liturgy. But since Vatican 2, we have been forced to endure the most appalling jingles thumped out on pianos. A writer of some of this material has now been accused of sexual misconduct. While we await the outcome, it would seem appropriate to remove his works from use during the Mass. If Protestants can get rid of this stuff, why not Catholics? https://blogs.elca.org/worship/2979/ https://blogs.elca.org/worship/2979/ David Haas https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Haas November 2020 (to the Catholic Weekly) So the US bishops have congratulated 'Catholic' Joe Biden. Mr Biden openly approves abortion and sodomy. These evils are not approved by God, but rather by Satan. Would it not be appropriate if Australian bishops let their brother bishops in the US know that it is their divine duty to emphasise to American Catholics that God disapproves these activities of Mr Biden? I believe it is simply a matter of right and wrong. The US bishops are here quite wrong. And a poor example for American Catholics. I have heard a number of claims from parishioners. 1 The battle is over. Satan has won. No point in fighting a war that is already lost. 2 Speaking out on 'controversial' topics might result in some sort of disciplinary action. 3 The Church must focus its efforts on more important things like climate change and asylum seekers. 4 Abortion was pushed too hard by traditional Catholics on the fringe of the Church, and opponents of abortion have a really bad name. 5 Priests fear being out of sync with their peers. They need to feel part of the group. I cannot imagine that any of the above reasons are valid. There must be some other explanation. But what? November 2020 In primary school, I recall that the nuns told us, "Go to Mass every day. You never know when it will be taken from you." We laughed. In those days we had two Masses every day, and six on Sunday. But now we hear that Father wants some down time. He wants a break from saying Mass. The enormous burden of half an hour a day is simply too much. Parishioners wonder what on earth a priest wishes to do that is more important than the Mass. If a priest feels that saying Mass is irksome or too much trouble, why did he bother becoming a priest? Was he unaware that saying Mass is why we have priests? The Church desires that priests say Mass every day. Canon 904 tells us that daily celebration is "recommended earnestly", so if Father feels like a day off, it is not unreasonable for God to expect him to have a good reason. Why deny parishioners the benefits which stem from the Mass? Who knows? These benefits might be infinite. November 2020 (to the Catholic Weekly) Four years ago we had the Dubia, in which four cardinals documented in some detail what was claimed as the apparent heresies of Francis in Amoris Laetitia. These queries remain unaddressed to this day, as if Francis does not see that there is anything to defend. Next we had the saga of Pachamama, where Francis presented an idol to be venerated. Yet the Church tells us (Deut 32:16-17, 1Cor 10:20) that such idols are in fact demons. More recently, Francis has told us that sodomitic unions are not so bad after all. Catholics have always believed that sodomy is a sin crying out to Heaven for vengeance (Gen 18:20-21, Jude 1:7). Apparently Francis does not. https://www.cbc.ca/news/world/pope-documentary-gay-rights-1.5770754 It is difficult to reconcile the novel claims of Francis with the unalterable teachings of the Church. So why does God allow this confusion? There is the argument that God, in preparation for the end times (Luke 18:8), is offering Catholics an opportunity to decide whether to follow His Church, or to follow the false teachings of Francis out of the Church. If this exodus includes bishops and priests, then their responsibility will be very great indeed. If there is substance in this argument, then it is urgent that our bishops and priests come out and clear up the mess, before it's too late. October 2020 (to the Catholic Weekly) Two Franciscans have criticised a 'depraved' sex ed curriculum. One might expect a thorough investigation of the curriculum in doubt, but no. Instead, they have been disciplined. What Catholics would like to know is exactly what were the errors of the offending Franciscans. If none can be provided, then perhaps the curriculum might be examined in detail. Australian friars sanctioned by superior for criticizing depraved sex ed curriculum https://www.lifesitenews.com/opinion/australian-friars-sanctioned-by-superior-for-criticizing-depraved-sex-ed-curriculum October 2020 (to the Catholic Weekly) It is more than fifty years since I heard a priest give a sermon on the teachings of the Church. Catholics of today know just about nothing of the evils of contraception, abortion, the pains of Hell, the Commandments, sin, the sacraments and so on. I am sure that our bishops are appalled at this situation, which surely leads their flocks to the loss of their souls. Perhaps the answer lies in Catholic schools, which today are reputed to produce just 2% of practising Catholics at the end of 12 years. Would it be possible for bishops to offer prizes or other incentives at Catholic schools for children who successfully complete a course (a REAL course) in Catholic teaching? This would need to be based on something better than the present Catholic curriculum, and taught by teachers who practise their faith. The outcome of the course could be a diploma in Catholic teaching. The final exam would need to be set and marked by Catholic laity who completed their education in Catholic schools in the fifties, since these are the only people left who have a serious knowledge of the Catholic faith. Who knows? This might save a few souls. Isn't that what Catholic education is for? October 2020 There seems to be a groundswell of revulsion among priests and bishops aimed at the activities of politicians who favour abortion. Especially in regard to those politicians who posture as Catholics. These priests seem to be saying that voting for political parties who endorse abortion leads to Hell. Their argument is that given that abortion leads to Hell, then promoting it leads to the same place. Now who knows? These priests and bishops might be wrong. I cannot imagine how these these claims, opposed to Catholic teaching, are pleasing to God. For more than four years, Francis has obstinately refused to answer the Dubia, wherein four cardinals requested an explanation of the errors of Amoris Laetitia. Given that the obstinate doubt or denial of formal Church teaching results in automatic excommunication (canons 751, 1364), It is difficult to imagine how Francis remains within the Church. So the question arises: How is it possible to have a non-Catholic Pope? Where does the answer lie? BREAKING: Pope fails to reply to 4 cardinals’ urgent plea for clarification, so they go public October 2020 It is hard to escape the conclusion that Francis, having abolished Hell and capital punishment (Amoris Laetitia 297), now favours sodomitic unions. I cannot imagine that this could be pleasing to God. If his aim is to drive faithful Catholics out of the Church, he has failed. In fact, given the obstinacy in his refusal to address the Dubia and its suggestions of heresy, it would seem that Francis has painted himself into a corner, since the Church treats heresy very seriously, invoking the penalty of automatic excommunication. What we need is for bishops to clear up this matter rapidly and efficiently, since heresy is dangerous not just to the heretic, but to souls affected by the heresy. Where are the answers? October 2020 (to the Catholic Weekly) Not content with abolishing Hell and overturning Church teaching on capital punishment, Francis has now come out in favour of same-sex unions, to the delight of the homosexual lobby in the Church. Isn't sodomy one of those sins which cry out to Heaven for vengeance? I cannot see how a bishop can keep silent about this disgusting evil without endangering his soul. Am I missing something here? Four cardinals took this up with their Dubia, but there was no explanation from bishops on what was the true situation. Francis also rejected capital punishment, the virtue of virginity over the married state, and the authority of husbands. Now Francis is reported to have said that sodomitic relationships can be somehow acceptable. Surely this must bring forth a response from those appointed as guardians of souls. Are the reports correct? And if so, where does the truth lie? October 2020 There are credible reports that 98% of Catholic children who spend up to 12 years at Catholic schools never attend Mass after leaving. You take a flight to Sydney. The hostess announces that of the hundred people on board, only 2 will reach their destination alive. What will you do? The lack of Christian teaching in Catholic schools results in a far worse death - eternal death. What will you do? Catholic Schools are Fooling Well-Meaning Parents https://www.gloria.tv/post/YwaihTdByRJB4mHXuLtApRWBq October 2020 (to the Catholic Weekly) All the schools I attended taught the Catholic faith. I learned very early that Catholic schools in Australia were set up primarily for that reason. So how is it possible that when I attend a school Mass, the children have no idea what to do - when to stand, when to sit? And they NEVER kneel. Worse, it's the same with the teachers. Are those teachers attending Sunday Mass? I don't think so. I hear news - and it is never denied - that after 12 years of Catholic education, just 2% of Catholic children continue going to Mass. Teachers cannot pass on what they don't have themselves. If this is true, then are we not being subjected to a massive con? An expensive hoax? And will not those responsible for the enormous loss of souls one day be called to account? Are Catholic Parents Being Cheated? Psychologist gives searing critique of Vatican’s new gender doc: a compromise with ‘neo-paganism’ October 2020 A few years ago Archbishop Coleridge, in a Catholic Leader article, claimed that the word 'Islam' means 'peace', and that the "barbarity of extremists" has nothing to do with the real Islam or God. https://catholicleader.com.au/analysis/world-peace-depends-on-dialogue-between-christianity-and-islam The truth is quite different: around 180 degrees different. 'Islam' certainly does not mean 'peace', and Islam, in its teachings, absolutely inspires the barbarity of jihadis, who are far from being extremists. https://www.thereligionofpeace.com/pages/myths/means-peace.aspx https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6L2Jil03qmI&feature=emb_title https://answering-islam.org/Silas/swordverse.htm#:~:text=THE%20VERSE%20OF%20THE%20SWORD%3A%20SURA%209%3A5%20AND,was%20power%20through%20stages%3A%20a%20rise%20...%20 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t_Qpy0mXg8Y During the last 30 days, there have been more than 150 attacks on innocent people, in 20 countries. So far this year there have been more than 1 600 attacks inspired by the Religion of Peace, in 44 countries, leaving almost 8 000 dead and almost 6 000 injured. Can anyone show a similar level of murderous activity inspired by any other religion? I thought not. Is it not time for Archbishop Coleridge to correct his error? List of Killings in the Name of Islam: Last 30 Days ttps://www.thereligionofpeace.com/attacks/attacks.aspx?Yr=Last30 October 2020 (to the Catholic Weekly) In Amoris Laetitia, 297, Francis says: No one can be condemned for ever, because that is not the logic of the Gospel! I can see no interpretation other than that he is denying Hell, a formal teaching of the Catholic Church. And for four years Francis has obstinately refused to answer questions. Obstinate doubt or denial of Catholic teaching is considered heresy, punished by automatic excommunication (canons 751 and 1364). If so, how is it possible for a non-Catholic to remain as head of the Church, unchallenged by bishops? I have raised this question with the Australian bishops, but received no answer. Is there one? October 2020 (to the Catholic Weekly) The matter of Cardinal Pell would appear to have been settled. Or maybe not. There is now the question of how an orchestrated army of activists used 26 meaningless charges to help put away an innocent man for more than a year. Do our bishops have a plan to investigate the corruption in the Vatican and in taxpayer-funded organisations in Australia? Who knows how high the trail will lead, in both locations? What's that? The enemies of the Church would never attack a Catholic bishop? Who was it who said that "we must hang together, or assuredly we shall all hang separately"? 'Amazing allegations' surface of allegedly corrupt Vatican officials: Bolt September 2020 (to the Catholic Weekly) The Bible tells us (Deut 22:5), and priests and bishops used to teach, that men should not wear women's clothes, and women should not wear men's clothes. Since Catholics must believe in the Bible, this commandment would appear to apply to our society right now. Given that the Holy Spirit went to the trouble of mandating this law, it would appear difficult to claim that the matter is trivial. The question arises: do those women attending Mass (ie, in the immediate physical presence of Christ) wearing trousers, shorts or jeans offend God? And female teachers at Catholic schools wearing imitation men's clothes in the presence of Catholic children, do they commit the additional sin of scandal? If so, what is to be done to save the souls of these women? And if nothing is done, and souls are lost, will these souls not appear as witnesses at the judgement of those who failed them? Of course, I could be mistaken. I should be grateful if someone could point out my error. September 2020 Islam has for centuries declared its intention of destroying Christianity. In country after country Christians are being eliminated, both by the sword and through producing larger families. There are good laymen who have stepped up and provided a defence of Christianity against the attacks of Islamists. But I have not seen a single bishop or priest with a knowledge of Islam who is able or prepared to defend his faith. Since Australia is hardly immune to these attacks, nor to their consequences, where are the students of Islam among our clergy? Is this battle to be left to the laity? Or is it to be conceded entirely? September 2020 The Church teaches (Council of Florence) that eternal punishment awaits those who die in mortal sin. Francis (Amoris Laetitia 297) says that there is no such thing. If his claim is ambiguous, where is the explanation? But if heretical, where is the outcry from those appointed to teach? September 2020 (to the Catholic Weekly) The year 2020 has provided events which seemed impossible just a few short months ago. Those Catholic writers of orthodox outlook seem to be falling, one by one, into the camp of those who believe that Benedict remains Pope, and Francis never was. They argue three reasons. First, they point out that Francis exhibits the characteristics of a heretic (eg he does not accept Hell, and claims that the Church forbids capital punishment); second, they note that there are flaws in the 'resignation' of Benedict; and third, they see how the St Gallen mafia have been trumpeting from the rooftops their part in the manipulation of the conclave, which should annul the election and excommunicate the participants. Given what shows signs of becoming something of a consensus, it is time for our bishops to step in and clear up the mess? ABBREVIATED LIST OF CATHOLIC WEBSITES WHERE CORRESPONDENTS MAY BE STARTING TO HAVE DOUBTS ABOUT THE STATUS OF FRANCIS Mundabor Canon212 RORATE CÆLI ABYSSUS ABYSSUM INVOCAT / DEEP CALLS TO DEEP Barnhardt | Judica me, Deus, et discerne causam meam de gente non sancta. September 2020 For two millennia the Church has taught the existence of an everlasting punishment called Hell, for those who die in mortal sin. But Francis appears to have changed Catholic teaching, telling us that there is no such thing as eternal punishment. This casts doubt on the Council of Florence, which affirmed the existence of Hell. If Francis is correct, that makes me a heretic, automatically excommunicated. It also makes the Church rather less than infallible. I believe that Australian Catholics need someone in authority to clear up this mess. Who will perform this necessary task? 1. Amoris Laetitia 297 It is a matter of reaching out to everyone, of needing to help each person find his or her proper way of participating in the ecclesial community and thus to experience being touched by an “unmerited, unconditional and gratuitous” mercy. No one can be condemned for ever, because that is not the logic of the Gospel! Here I am not speaking only of the divorced and remarried, but of everyone, in whatever situation they find themselves. Naturally, if someone flaunts an objective sin as if it were part of the Christian ideal, or wants to impose something other than what the Church teaches, he or she can in no way presume to teach or preach to others; this is a case of something which separates from the community (cf. Mt 18:17). Such a person needs to listen once more to the Gospel message and its call to conversion. Yet even for that person there can be some way of taking part in the life of community, whether in social service, prayer meetings or another way that his or her own initiative, together with the discernment of the parish priest, may suggest. As for the way of dealing with different “irregular” situations, the Synod Fathers reached a general consensus, which I support: “In considering a pastoral approach towards people who have contracted a civil marriage, who are divorced and remarried, or simply living together, the Church has the responsibility of helping them understand the divine pedagogy of grace in their lives and offering them assistance so they can reach the fullness of God’s plan for them”,328 something which is always possible by the power of the Holy Spirit. 2. Can. 751 Heresy is the obstinate denial or obstinate doubt after the reception of baptism of some truth which is to be believed by divine and Catholic faith; apostasy is the total repudiation of the Christian faith; schism is the refusal of submission to the Supreme Pontiff or of communion with the members of the Church subject to him. 3. Can. 1364 §1 An apostate from the faith, a heretic or a schismatic incurs a latae sententiae excommunication, without prejudice to the provision of Can. 194 §1, n. 2; a cleric, moreover, may be punished with the penalties mentioned in Can. 1336 §1, nn. 1, 2 and 3. 4. The Council of Florence on Hell. The Council of Florence on Hell September 2020 Looking back, it seems to many Catholics that the Australian Bishops failed in their divinely ordained duty to defend Humanae Vitae. Instead of insisting that the Church's constant teaching on contraception be upheld, they wandered into a fuzzy ambiguity, telling their flocks that although Catholics MUST follow Church teaching, if they decide to disagree, well that's all right then. At the time of the encyclical, I recall how priests were assuring Catholics that at the rate converts were coming into the Church, the whole country would be Catholic by the year 2000. Had Church teaching been upheld, it is not impossible that today Australia's population would be close to 120 million. No immigration would be necessary. Schools would be expanding, and families would have half a dozen children or more, just as they did back in the fifties. Builders would be building, tradies trading, stores bustling, and there would be full employment, since mothers would stay home and raise their chlldren, instead of outsourcing them to strangers. Australia would have homegrown manufacturing, producing electronic goods, just as we once did. Motor manufacturing and aircraft production would never have been lost, and a space industry would not be out of the question. Instead of a dozen lemons, we'd have half a hundred nuclear subs, and China would be afraid of us, instead of the other way around. The US would see us as an equal partner, instead of as a client. This is what we have lost. Is it too late for remedial action? Or am I mistaken in my interpretation of the Bishops' statement? From the 1974 Statement of the Australian Bishops The encyclical On Human Life is an authentic and authoritative document of the Church, and as such, it calls for a religious submission of will and of mind (Lumen Gentium n.25). . . It is not impossible, however, that an individual may fully accept the teaching authority of the Pope in general, may be aware of his teaching in this matter and yet reach a position after honest study and prayer that is at variance with papal teaching. Such a person could be without blame; he would certainly not have cut himself off from the Church; and in acting in accordance with his conscience he could be without subjective fault. September 2020 I am finding it difficult to understand our leaders. Mention hanging for guilty murderers and they melt away. But they don't seem to have trouble with tearing innocent babies limb from limb. Where is the outrage? Or am I missing something here? September 2020 An election arrives next month, and we wait to see what our appointed leaders will do about Catholics, especially Catholic politicians, pushing for the unjust deaths of the unborn. Past experience is not encouraging. Bishops have more important things to worry about. Like global warming, considered by many Massgoers to be a hoax. Let's see what they say over the next month or so. https://www.smh.com.au/politics/federal/church-leaders-use-christmas-message-to-call-for-climate-action-20191222-p53mau.html September 2020 So the Queensland Government has legislated to force priests to break the seal of the confessional. It could be argued that it will make little difference in Queensland since almost no one goes to confession anyway. Hats off to those priests who have eliminated sin in their parishes. A priest who breaks the seal of the confessional is automatically excommunicated. A few years ago this problem was easily avoided. Churches had confessionals in which confession was a private matter: the penitent and priest were unable to see or identify each other. These devices were removed willy-nilly by 'reforming' priests following Vatican 2. A return to the confessionals as installed by those bishops and priests of the early twentieth century, and the problem disappears. The authorities can drag all the priests they want into court, but not a single priest will be able to identify a penitent. The priests' souls are safe, and the only damage is the frustration suffered by the enemies of the Church. By the way, is the Police Minister not a Catholic? https://catholicleader.com.au/news/queensland-passes-law-to-jail-priests-for-not-reporting-confessions-of-child-sexual-abuse August 2020 Some four years ago a group of cardinals raised very serious questions on the content of Amoris Laetitia. Such as whether Catholics living in a state of mortal sin should be permitted the Blessed Sacrament; whether there exists an eternal Hell; whether the husband is the head of the family; or if the Church has consistently condemned capital punishment. No clear word has issued from Francis. As head of the Church, it would appear to fall to him the duty to clarify Church teaching. I have seen no such clarification from our bishops either. So where does the responsibility lie for ensuring that Catholics are taught the truth? August 2020 Muslims believe that if they kill infidels, they will be rewarded with 72 virgins (9.111). As Catholics, we know that the murder of an innocent is rewarded, not with houris, but with demons, in Hell. This trick of Satan has caused the deaths of many Christians throughout the world, and the loss of countless Muslim souls. Ex-Muslims must surely be horrified that their friends and relatives have seemingly been abandoned for all eternity, by Christians who are supposed to 'love their enemies'. Perhaps some of them could be saved if there is an earnest attempt to reach out to them. One wonders why this has not been done already. But who is called for this task? Perhaps a second question is, why are we welcoming into this country people whose religion tells them to kill us? islamic paradise and virgins https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=2&v=t3jh2IkJKFQ&feature=emb_title THIS IS HOW JANNAH WILL FEEL | NICE REMINDER https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=73&v=SQqkENSyTyw&feature=emb_title August 2020 The Feminists used to say that abortion of babies is all right because life begins at birth. But scientists have demonstrated that life begins at conception. The Feminists' answer? "Kill them anyway." Why do politicians who claim to be Catholics take the lead in what is in truth the murder of babies? And where is the outrage from our bishops and priests? July 2020 In creating men, God gave us the power to join him in the creation of new life. He provided for a partnership where He allowed us to share in the reproduction of our own kind. This is a gift he denied the angels. Yet instead of declaring our gratitude for this wonderful ability, our society is busy destroying the babies produced by cooperation with God. And often by the most gruesome methods. Catholic men and women daily face the attacks of those who approve the murder of babies. But it is more than half a century since I heard a bishop openly pointing out the hypocrisy of those politicians who push baby-murder, yet claim to be Catholics. Why is this? Do they not have a natural revulsion for this evil? July 2020 (to the Catholic Weekly) Our society has a serious problem with drugs, car theft, pornography, abortion, contraception, sexual assault and feral teenagers, phenomena which were comparatively rare as recently as the middle of the last century. In those days we were taught by priests and in Catholic schools that mothers stayed in the home and raised their children, instead of outsourcing them to hirelings. Since the connection appears to be fairly clear, perhaps a step in the right direction would be for Catholic organisations which employ numbers of mothers to set an example and consider whether they might serve God better by enabling these to return to their true vocation. The alternative might be to continue the decline of our civilisation, with eternal consequences. July 2020 (to the Catholic Weekly) Our clergy occasionally tell us how they promote women's rights, particularly the right of women to vote. Do they not understand that God made the husband the head of the wife? That means that he is obliged to support his family 'by the sweat of his brow'. He it is who must decide which political candidate will enable him to fulfill his obligations as husband and father. If his wife votes against him, she betrays the family. It is vital that wives submit to their husbands, or they offend God. The lack of teaching of this commandment endangers the souls of all married women. No man wants his wife to lose her soul. So why is the Church silent for so many years on this great danger to souls? July 2020 The Church teaches as worthy of belief that the brown scapular assures salvation to those wearing it at the time of death. Since the sole purpose of our existence is to reach eternal life safely, this gift is beyond price. I have never met an orthodox Catholic who doubts this. Yet I have never heard mention of the scapular from any priest or bishop in the last half-century. Why are our bishops and priests not promoting this guarantee of salvation? If, as I believe, the vast majority of Catholics has never heard of this sacramental, it is not unreasonable to believe that an enormous number of Catholics could lose their souls, who could otherwise be saved. Who will bear responsibility for these damned souls? July 2020 In the good old days before Vatican 2 priests and bishops taught about Hell, sin, the commandments and the sacraments. They instructed us on modesty in women, including in those women who chose to wear male clothing, and told us that God expects married women to remain in the home, raising children and taking care of their husbands, which was their vocation in life. In those days around 80% of Catholics went to Mass every Sunday, and families normally had half a dozen children. Now we are enlightened by a new generation of clergy, who don't feel the need to teach the faith, and never mention Hell, sin, modesty or anything like that. Instead we get the kind of social justice beloved by Marxists. And the number of Mass-goers droops down to single figures in some places. We now live in a society comfortable with working wives, abortion, contraception, drugs, sodomy, cohabitation, families with one or two children, and single mothers. The question arises. Is there a relationship between this lack of teaching and the Hell-hole we have made of our country? And if so, could the catalyst which destroyed the family the 'need' for wives to work outside the home and outsource the raising of their children? July 2020 When I see on TV women who occupy high-paid positions in government or private enterprise, I immediately wonder why they are not at home caring for children or grandchildren. Contraception has doomed this country to depopulation, to the extent that we have to import migrants to provide future taxes. Our leaders have failed to realise that this lack of future taxpayers will one day deprive us of pensions. And the children we aborted and contraceived will not be there to take care of us. A sign of civilisation is provision for the future. A future which is disappearing. One wonders why our bishops don't speak out about the rampant, near-universal use of contraceptives among Catholics. Is it because their Catholic schools need so many female teachers to survive? Incidentally, does the near-universal use of contraceptives mean that a large part of the Catholic population is on the road to Hell? After all, is not the use of contraceptives still mortally sinful? How will these souls be saved if no one is reminding them of their awful danger? July 2020 (to the Catholic Weekly) In creating us, God endowed us with a gift He denied to the angels. He allowed us to take part in that creation by giving life to new souls. Imagine the awe which must have struck the angels at the institution of this unexpected gift. Contraception, and even worse, abortion, are now 'normal' among Catholics. These evils shove that superlative gift right back into His face. It is not possible to deny or even doubt that those who fail to repent will suffer endlessly in the travails and miseries of Hell. Where are the calls from the housetops to end those most dreadful practices, and save those guilty souls? July 2020 (to the Catholic Weekly) The movement of Catholics toward the idea that Benedict is Pope, and Francis remains a cardinal, seems to be gaining momentum around the world. There are three reasons. First, Francis openly says he doesn't believe in Hell or capital punishment (Amoris Laetitia), and seems to have doubts about divorce and remarriage. An infallible Church headed by Christ logically cannot have an infallible pope who pushes heresy. Second, Benedict, for reasons we have yet to learn, attempted to bifurcate the papacy in a way unforeseen at the appointment of Peter. Third, Pope John Paul 2 (Universi Dominici Gregis) provided that in future conclaves attempts at electioneering result in nullity and excommunication. Since the last conclave the St Gallen Mafia have been shouting their conspiracy from the housetops. The question now is, what are bishops around the world going to do to remedy this situation, which poses an enormous challenge to the souls for whom they must one day answer? If the ball rests not in their court, then where? June 2020 Following credible reports that the Vatican is awash with homosexual activity, there are now indications that Francis has handed over Chinese Catholics to the tender mercies of the Communists in exchange for the modern equivalent of 30 pieces of silver. Vatican China Sellout https://www.churchmilitant.com/news/article/vatican-china-sellout Catholics wonder what our bishops are doing about this threat to the souls of Chinese Catholics, and the perceived corruption of cardinals, including Theodore McCarrick. Should they not aspire to a higher standard of behaviour? Or is it possible that the bishops are not aware of these dreadful events? Pope knowingly gave Vatican apartment to gay priest later caught in cocaine-fuelled orgy https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/breaking-pope-knowingly-gave-vatican-apartment-to-gay-priest-later-caught-i Source: Vatican cardinal was at drug-fueled homosexual party, and Pope knows it https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/source-vatican-cardinal-was-at-drug-fueled-homosexual-party-and-pope-knows June 2020 (to the Catholic Weekly) The number of bishops who appear aware of the doubts surrounding the legitimacy of the election of Francis is frighteningly small. Should it be determined conclusively that Francis is indeed an antipope, what contingency plans do our bishops have to restore the integrity of the Church? For example, there will be documents to be unwritten (Amoris Laetitia, Laudato Si, etc), teachings to be untaught, and agreements to be unagreed (eg with China, Islam). Perhaps even heresies to be corrected (eg the existence of Hell). There is also the matter of the restoration of Benedict. Is it possible that our religious leaders are yet unaware of the seriousness of the situation? June 2020 The US Democrat presidential candidate, Joe Biden, representing half the population of the US, claims to be Catholic, yet openly pushes abortion. I have seen no US bishop explain in charity that Mr Biden, in publicly and formally opposing Church teaching, is no longer Catholic, and ultimately faces eternal damnation. We are no better. Australian politicians claiming to be Catholic have no problem with abortion or sodomy, and there is no attempt to hide their support for these disgusting evils. Where is the public statement from our bishops telling them that they have excommunicated themselves, and are to be denied the sacraments until they repair the damage they have done? Aren't their souls worth saving? Or is Hell not so bad after all? Joe Biden: “I’m Going to Do Everything in My Power” to Promote Abortion https://www.lifenews.com/2020/06/15/joe-biden-im-going-to-do-everything-in-my-power-to-promote-abortion/ Biden touts Catholic faith as campaign falters https://www.catholicnewsagency.com/news/biden-touts-catholic-faith-as-campaign-falters-65555 2020 Candidate Joe Biden Identifies as Catholic, But Breaks With Church Teaching https://www.ncregister.com/daily-news/2020-candidate-joe-biden-identifies-as-catholic-but-breaks-with-church-teac June 2020 (to the Catholic Weekly) We are now used to violence, theft and destruction from the Left of politics. There are claims that shadowy figures are funding it, but ultimately it is not unreasonable for Christians to associate evil with Satan. Will our bishops come out now and point out the connection between the evils of the Left and the works of Satan? Of course, this would take courage, since evil seems to have powerful friends. But are Catholics not entitled to know? If nothing is done, there is the distinct possibility that many will continue to believe that Satan is a harmless cartoon character with horns and a tail, who doesn't really exist. June 2020 (to the Catholic Weekly) It is quite astonishing how the status of the Pope has tumbled in such a short time. Francis is referred to as a friend of homosexual predators, a heretic, foul-mouthed, a hypocrite, a fraud, an impostor and even an 'evil clown'. I have never before heard a pope treated this way. Sadly, there is an awful lot of material seeking to justify these descriptions. So far as I know, no attempt has been made to deny them. If it turns out that these claims have an element of truth, the Church is indeed in for a difficult time. For that reason, we need good solid bishops, willingly to ignore public opinion in order defend the faith and to save souls. The question is, where to find them. June 2020 (to the Catholic Weekly) By now the world has seen the promotion of heresy by Francis (eg Amoris Laetitia 297), his profanities and his preference for Communists over Catholics in China. Archbishop Vigano, on the other hand, is in hiding in fear for his life, simply for pointing out undisputed truths. It seems to me that the actions and words of Archbishop Vigano are worthy of a Pope. Francis, not so much. Now over to the bishops and cardinals. What is to be done? May 2020 Now that it has been firmly established that the Novus Ordo Mass as celebrated almost exclusively throughout Australia was put together by an enemy of the Church, is it not a matter of urgency to introduce the teaching of Latin into our seminaries? Where will our bishops find teachers? Perhaps the SSPX will respond generously, given an apposite approach. New historical evidence emerges in support of Bugnini’s association with Freemasonry — Names are named https://rorate-caeli.blogspot.com/2020/05/bombshell-new-historical-evidence.html May 2020 Why are you lonely, aged feminist, sentenced to life in an old folks' home? Where are the children and grandchildren who would love to take care of you? Well, the children were aborted and contracepted, and the grandchildren never stood a chance. The husband God planned for you married a younger woman, and is surrounded by three generations of loving family. And why has your pension devalued so much? It's simple. Instead of producing children, who would be financing your pension today, your generation chose to import migrants who, instead of working, spent their lives living off benefits, adding to the burden on honest workers. How is it possible to be Christian and feminist at the same time? April 2020 Pope Francis complains of intemperant language, especially among orthodox Catholics. And if there is any truth in this, who could disagree? https://www.scmp.com/news/world/europe/article/3013753/pope-complains-its-fashionable-insult-people-social-media But in compiling a list of the Pope's own sayings, one discovers a mine of inspiration. Matthew 23:3 comes to mind. http://popefrancisbookofinsults.blogspot.com/ Whose task is it to ask Francis to explain this contradiction? April 2020 (to the Catholic Weekly) All Catholics are required to believe in an eternal Hell (Council of Florence 1438-1445), under pain of excommunication (canons 751, 1364). All, that is, except the Pope (Amoris Laetitia, 297). Many among the laity are waiting for our bishops to explain how this exception came about, and why it continues. April 2020 (to the Catholic Weekly) Now that the bottom has dropped out of the case against Cardinal Pell, can we expect an apology from the Victorian Police for Operation Tethering, where Keystone's Finest searched door to door trying to generate complaints against an innocent man? April 2020 (to the Catholic Weekly) When a Pope declares (AL297) that there is no such thing as an eternal Hell, alarm bells should ring in episcopal offices, and a 'correction' immediately issued, so that the faithful will not be led astray. More than 4 years have gone by and not a word from our apostles. If Francis is correct, the formal teaching of the Church has changed. And the Church suddenly has lost its claim to infallibility. Must we now look elsewhere for the true Church? One that really is infallible? If I could offer a suggestion, I'd say that Francis may not believe in Hell, but I'm fairly sure Benedict does. March 2020 (to the Catholic Weekly) Francis says that there is no eternal Hell (Amoris Laetitia 297). The Catholic Church says that there is (Council of Florence, 1438-45). The Dubia lists other serious errors, which Francis has obstinately failed to address, even after more than 3 years. Do we have a case where a Pope's teaching is directly opposed to that of the Church? How is this possible? And now the real questions. What is to be done? Who should do it? And what will be the consequences for those in responsible positions who fail to do so? March 2020 During the plagues of Europe, with up to a third of the population affected, courageous priests went among the dying, providing comfort and the last rites. Today in Queensland we have barely a dozen citizens down with the Corona virus. What is the reaction? Enforce Communion in the hand, a practice that was introduced through disobedience. How many good Catholics will this send to the SSPX? March 2020 (to the Catholic Weekly) There appears to be a growing movement of bishops, priests and laity who reject Francis as Pope. There are three main reasons. 1 The open boasting of the St Gallen Mafia on how they manipulated the conclave which elected Francis, in spite of the Church's prohibition of canvassing, which would make the election null and void. 2 Promotion of heresy on the part of Francis, such as the teaching that there is no Hell (Amoris Laetitia 297), in spite of formal Catholic teaching. There is the refusal for more than 3 years to address the Dubia, which details the apparent errors. Obstinate heresy leads to automatic excommunication. 3 The errors and limitations in the renunciation of Pope Benedict. It appears to some that schism is coming. To others, that it is already here. If so, Catholics must make a choice. So must bishops. February 2020 (to the Catholic Weekly) It is hard to disagree when reports claim that homosexual clergy comprise around 90% of the Vatican. Apparently there are sodomites everywhere. We have learned that almost all the priests who abused children preyed on boys, leaving us with the natural conclusion that predators tend to come from the ranks of homosexuals. What I want to know is why is the Church being run by people living in the habit of sin? A particularly disgusting sin. How do these clergy celebrate Mass? Many allegations have been made against the team running the Vatican (see below). So far as I know, none has been denied. What should be done about it, and who should do it? Or should we just let it continue until God does something? https://www.ncregister.com/blog/edward-pentin/the-drug-fueled-homosexual-scandal-allegations-at-the-holy-office https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/breaking-pope-knowingly-gave-vatican-apartment-to-gay-priest-later-caught-i https://www.complicitclergy.com/cleric/francesco-coccopalmerio/ https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=1228308930711385 https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/source-vatican-cardinal-was-at-drug-fueled-homosexual-party-and-pope-knows https://www.cnsnews.com/blog/theresa-smith/vatican-cardinals-secretary-arrested-hosting-cocaine-fueled-homosexual-orgy-near https://www.americamagazine.org/faith/2019/02/14/new-expose-homosexuality-vatican-coming-out-next-week-what-can-we-expect https://www.cbsnews.com/news/bombshell-book-alleges-vatican-catholic-priests-bishops-cardinals-gay-homosexuality-subculture-hypocrisy/ https://www.theguardian.com/world/2019/feb/12/four-in-five-vatican-priests-are-gay-book-claims https://www.haaretz.com/world-news/europe/.premium.MAGAZINE-sex-parties-drugs-and-closeted-clergy-undercover-in-the-vatican-1.7087409 https://www.vanityfair.com/culture/2013/12/gay-clergy-catholic-church-vatican Compendium of Reportage and Links on Natacha Jaitt, Gustavo Vera, Jorge Bergoglio Well, I tried to get English language media to pick it up, but no one would touch it, and now she’s dead, a shock to exactly no one, including Natacha Jaitt herself: “Notice: I will not commit suicide. I won’t be bought off or drown in a bath tub, nor will I shoot myself in the head. So, if that happens: I wasn’t me. Save this tweet.” I can’t help but think that if North American media had picked it up, maybe she could have gotten some help, which she clearly needed in multiple respects. It’s a vicious circle she got herself into. I was told by journalists that they couldn’t engage the story because Jaitt herself was too “morally compromised”, to which my response was that if you’re waiting for whistleblowers from the prostitution scene of Buenos Aires to come forward who are also cloistered nuns, you’ve very conveniently set up a dodge such that you never have to engage the story. Weak. Jaitt, IF she was murdered, made herself an easy target by continuing to move in unsavory circles. Just another high-dollar ho that ODed on coke. That is how it will be shrugged off. Hopefully now the story will be picked up, and some actual investigation and reportage will happen. I see ChurchMilitant has a piece up. Where the hell they were in September when I and ComplicitClergy were reporting this stuff, and I had Argentine sources sending me hand-translated links and transcripts of Jaitt’s TV appearances, I don’t know. Apparently Terry Carroll’s checkbook hadn’t given Voris the go-ahead yet. Finally, do we all now see why Archbishop Viganò is in hiding for fear of his life? Like with the Clintons, people who crossed Bergoglio and Bergoglio’s co-covenists tend to end up disappeared, ODed or suicided. From Argentine news: “…in just under two weeks she was going to go to trial in the wake of the complaint made by Mercedes Ninci and Gustavo Vera, for damages.” Let it also be noted that Jaitt has a young son, Valentino. Pray for that poor kid. First, cardinals boasting how they (illegally) manipulated the conclave which installed Pope Francis. Second, the manifest promotion of heresy by Francis (eg, no such thing as an eternal Hell, AL297). Third, the glut of uncharitable statements on the part of Francis. Fourth, apparent errors in Benedict's 'renunciation'. And fifth, refusable to address the legitimate questions of the dubia, more than 3 years old. Now bishops are coming out, telling us openly that Benedict, and not Francis, is Pope. There is a growing movement among laypeople declaring the same. So far, no one has offered any denial or explanation of these facts. And they seem to meet only silence in Rome. The problem we face now is to find where the truth lies. The consequences may be endlessly painful. We await guidance from our bishops and priests. Where will they lead us? The Gall of the St Gallen Mafia Pope Benedict is now flanked by 2 Bishops Clamorous errors in the Latin of the Renunciation Francis Book of Insults Any Manipulation in a Conclave Renders it Null and Void You can’t understand Pope Francis without Juan Perón — and Evita Compendium of Reportage and Links on Natacha Jaitt, Gustavo Vera, Jorge Bergoglio | Barnhardt February 2020 When I hear about the mistreatment of the aged in nursing homes, and see elderly women forced to work on the checkouts at supermarkets, I am constantly reminded of the failure of our bishops to teach the evils of contraception. Couples who fail to have the children God intends for them, and have not provided for retirement, face a very bleak future. The evil continues. I cannot recall hearing an Australian bishop or priest give the Church's teaching on contraception during the last half-century. Apart from offending God, contraception leads to a miserable and lonely old age. There may be a further consequence. Will God not demand an accounting one day from those responsible? February 2020 There are credible reports that someone in Catholic Education has decided that Year 3 and 4 boys and girls at a Catholic College should share the same toilet block. And somehow failed to inform parents. I believe that this is a test for Catholic authority in Brisbane. Let's see if there are consequences for those responsible. That will tell us who is running Catholic education. January 2020 (to the Catholic Weekly) It appears that there is a groundswell of opinion among devout Catholics (those who still believe) that Francis was never validly a pope. That Benedict is the true Pope, and no one else. Perhaps this has come about partly as a result of Francis's formal opposition to the teachings of the Church (by this I mean heresy, such as obstinately denying an eternal Hell, as in AL297). But there is also a body of opinion that he favours homosexuals, and has become a source of insulting language ill-befitting a bishop, let alone a pope. If indeed there are valid reasons for discomfort at the rather doubtful manner of his election, should not our bishops be informing us where the truth lies? If, for example, the laity end up following the teachings of a usurper, are not souls at risk? And if so, who will answer for failing to warn them? PS Below I have copied a SMALL sample of the information provided by devout Catholics (the good guys). Not one has been favoured with a rebuttal. In fact, all have been ignored by Francis and his supporters. These sodomite priests began preying on young boys, including altar boys, ruining many innocent lives. Those altar boys, in other circumstances, might have become good and holy priests. Today we have the extraordinary situation that whilst sodomites are celebrated in our society, Catholic priests are condemned as 'paedophiles', and there are efforts, even by bishops, to remove the need for celibacy. This is quite ironic, as the predators are homosexual and have no interest in marriage. Christian marriage, that is. I wonder if there are still among us bishops who have ordained homosexuals, or otherwise enabled them. What should happen to these disobedient prelates? A further irony is that the guilty bishops have passed on the bill for their flawed acts to the laity, who don't seem to have any influence on how their collection money is spent. January 2020 I cannot think of anyone I know who is not disgusted by the now-familiar sight of men kissing each other on TV. But what is truly disgusting is the lack of open condemnation by our bishops. Do they think that the Lord's attention is elsewhere? That He has somehow failed to notice? It is not impossible that this reluctance to teach has been noted for future reference. November 2019 With an ever-lengthening list of bishops up to their ears in abetting sodomy, few have so far been called to account by Church authorities. And of the episcopal predators, how many have ended up behind bars? Wait. There is an exception. Cardinal Pell, who actually fought against sodomy. Where is the movement among Australian bishops to overturn his punishment for a crime that could not have been committed? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ze5jHaDB4pk And where are the bishops with the courage to point out the association between sodomy and predation https://www.churchmilitant.com/video/episode/vortex-the-homosexual-papacy November 2019 We have seen the spectacle of MPs celebrating in Parliament the changing of laws to make same-sex 'marriage' the equivalent of marriage between a man and a woman. That is, they rejoiced at making the utilisation of an unpleasant part of the male anatomy equal to (indeed, superior to) something purposely created by God, thus instituting an appalling association between a sacrament and a sin so evil that it cries out to Heaven for vengeance. Where are the feminists at this degrading equivalence? More important, where are the bishops? November 2019 How is it possible? In Australia we have a court system called the Family Court. Its only task is to destroy families. Shouldn't it be required to change its name? August 2019 (to the Catholic Weekly) The debate on whether Cardinal Pell is guilty or not rattles on. But there is a deeper question. Given that the Victorian Government has changed the law to do away with corroboration and forensic evidence, it is now possible to convict a man on the say-so of just one person. As Cardinal Pell has found out. We are back to the old Marxist ploy of denunciation, so well-established during the Cultural Revolution. The Victorian Government has introduced a second Marxist element, the Show Trial. Enemies of the people had better watch out. With these tools available in Victoria, no one is safe. I cannot think of a single saint who could survive, with the right 'victim' primed to 'remember'. No, not St Francis of Assisi, not St Bernard, not even the Angelic Doctor himself. The next step? As comrade Lavrenti Beria used to say, "Show me the man and I'll show you his crime." Welcome to the People's Democratic Republic of Victoria. We know where you live. All of you. Police were ‘desperate’ for testimony against Cdl. Pell, priest columnist reveals August 2019 (to the Catholic Weekly) Catholics await the outrage of our bishops at the injustice done to Cardinal Pell. The bishops will note that the whole case was generated by Victorian police, who advertised for people to make complaints about Cardinal Pell. Is this what we pay police to do? They will note that there was only a single witness against him. Not two or three as the minimum demanded by a civilised society (and Catholic teaching). They will note that this witness did not appear at the appeal. And that there was no opportunity at the appeal to face the accuser and cross-examine. That under Victorian law as it now stands, it is possible for a single person to come forward and destroy the life of the highest-ranking Catholic in the country. This way you could put away St Teresa of Calcutta. In fact, not a single saint would be safe in the People's Republic of Victoria. But there is a precedent. A not dissimilar case was generated for a Victim 2 000 years ago. A Victim also judicially punished without any real evidence. People cried for His Blood then. Today people are crying for Cardinal Pell's blood, and they will not be satisfied. But God knows where the guilt lies. It may take a while, but justice will be done. God knows where the guilt lies. And He is infinitely just. July 2019 Lately I have begun to wonder if any other Catholics are getting tired of being lectured on morals by people who happily countenance the perversions of homosexuals, and who approve and defend the dismembering of innocent babies. June 2019 I am sure some Catholics are wondering why the homosexual lobby is not grateful to Israel Folau for calling for repentance, with the hope of saving their souls. Without that repentance, they will certainly spend their after-life in a never-ending misery that is at present beyond their imagination. Thus the Catholic Church teaches. Just ask a bishop. June 2019 'POVERTY CRISIS' screams the front page of last week's Catholic Leader. Of course there is a poverty crisis. Didn't Christ Himself tell us that the poor would always be with us (Matt 26:11). What's new? Where is your headline about the sin crisis? Isn't that the real business of the Church? Or are these headlines directed at people who are somewhat less than aware of the explosion in preventing births, the mass murder of babies, sodomy as a new social norm, sacrilege in the Mass, and the lack of solid teaching from bishops, priests and 'Catholic' schools. What should be the priority that God expects from His Church? Dealing with the things of this world, or getting souls to Heaven? Choose carefully. Yet if you can show me that the sins mentioned above are not a serious danger to souls in this country, I shall be happy to withdraw my words. May 2019 As Catholics we must believe the formal teachings of the Church as infallible. The formal teachings of the Pope, too, are to be accepted as infallible. What happens when they differ? For example, the Church teaches an eternal Hell for demons and condemned men. Pope Francis, on the other hand, teaches that there is no eternal Hell, because 'that is not the logic of the gospel' (AL 297). Both cannot be correct. One must be wrong. There can be no ambiguity between polar opposites. The choice we face is that either the Church has erred (although Christ said it would not), or Francis has erred, and thus is not a true Pope. Catholics rely on their bishops to teach. They are placed by God to ensure we do not follow false teaching, as falsehood is used by demons to take souls to Hell. I have not so far seen any clarification of this problem by our bishops. Is there a reason for the delay in explaining to the laity where lies the truth? May 2019 Your article 'Letter writers accuse Pope Francis of Heresy' notes that a group of Catholic writers has accused the Pope of heresy. Given that the Pope has failed to acknowledge the Dubia, and that the writers appear to have thoroughly documented their case, it would seem that an answer is required. So far, none has been forthcoming from our bishops, so the laity are left completely in the dark. For the Pope to have issued heresy, we really need just one example. Like this one from Amoris Laetitia: ‘297 'No one can be condemned for ever, because that is not the logic of the Gospel!’ How can this be interpreted any way other than that the Pope is denying the existence of an eternal Hell? If so, he places himself at odds with the logic of the gospel, and thus with the Church. Matt. 25: 46: “These shall go into everlasting punishment: but the just, into life everlasting” Without severe damage to the English language, I do not believe that it is possible to reconcile these two statements. But there is more: Mt 7:22-3, Lk 16:26, Jn 17:12, Rev 20:10, 16th Synod of Toledo (DH574), 4th Lateran Council (DH801), Benedictus Deus (DH1002), Laetentur Caeli (DH1306), Recentiores Episcoporum AAS71: 941, Catechism 1033-7. Why the silence from our bishops, whose divinely-ordained task is to teach? Have the faithful not the right to clear and unambiguous teaching? Is Francis a heretic, yes or no? And why? And if yes, what is to be done, by whom, and when? March 2019 I have to agree with Mr Osmak (3 March). The exposure of the beach-house predatory activity of Cardinal McCarrick, and the drug-fuelled homosexual Vatican adventures of Cardinal Coccopalmerio have given rise to credible claims that the Vatican and the US are under the control of what is aptly termed the 'Lavender Mafia'. Reading between the lines, Cardinal Burke seems to be asking a dreadful question. What are active homosexuals doing in charge of Christ's Church? In what manner are they qualified and motivated to lead souls to eternal safety? I think the laity deserve an explanation. May 2018 Having grown up in an era when Catholic boys were taught by brothers and girls by nuns, I recall how well Catholic schoolchildren performed, and how hard it must have been at coed government schools for boys at such an impressionable age. Catholic teachers in those days knew well that the presence of girls tends constantly to remind young boys of things other than classwork. There is no doubt in my mind that coedding Catholic schools has been a grave error. Picking up children from school, I see girls and teachers wearing shorts and short skirts. Once, in an age when modesty was prized, these would have been sent home, to return properly dressed. This really leads to two questions. First, how many souls have ultimately been lost because of inappropriate dress where teenage boys and girls share classrooms and playgrounds? Could a Catholic school be the starting point for the loss of a soul? Is this why so few graduates (around 2%) of Catholic schools continue with Mass after leaving? And second, will those responsible for this loss of souls one day find themselves called to account? What could be their defence? May 2018 The controversy about the positions on morals expressed by Fr Frank Brennan continues (CL 29/4). The bottom line is so easy. Voting YES to same-sex marriage cannot do other than support sodomy. The support of an evil which is identified biblically as crying out to Heaven for vengeance must surely indicate a conscious decision to reject formal Catholic teaching and leave the Church. It also means that if such a Catholic dies without repentance, no matter how good he is in other ways, he goes to Hell for eternity. As the Church teaches, there is no salvation outside the Church. The acceptance, even approval, of perversion by so many Catholics must lead to serious questioning about how well they were educated in the faith. One wonders who will answer for this. March 2018 Do I have an obligation to help the poor? Absolutely. Does the government have the right to take the money I intended to give to the poor and use it for one of their pet causes? No. That's theft. Does the social justice industry have the right to advocate extra taxes to fund their pet causes? No. That is abetting theft. Helping the poor is for people. Social Justice Warriors like to help their poor by the use of the money of other people. There is an old saying. A social justice warrior feels so sorry for the poor that he can't wait to get his hand into your pocket to give them something. The social justice industry provides nothing of use to society. Time to disband. |

Now that political activism has normalised same-sex 'marriage', it will become an offence to defend a sacrament, and priests who teach the faith will be in grave danger. Of course, there are parishes which will not be greatly affected by this. But it is time for our bishops to show what they are a force to be reckoned with, and point out that passing a law in no way changes the true situation. Sodomy still cries out to Heaven for vengeance, and who can say that we shall be spared this vengeance? Sodom and Gomorrah weren't. November 2017 Sunday's Catholic Leader's front page begins like this: Amid public protests, vigils and picketing of politicians' offices, the Catholic Church and United Nations are spearheading criticism of the Australian Government over its handling of asylum seekers on Manus Island. The future of about 600 men left on Manus remains in limbo after their refusal to leave the processing centre amid fears for their safety. Let's start at the beginning. 1 Public protests. What public protests? I am aware of a rather insignificant number of thugs who attempted to disrupt a Tony Abbott fundraiser, and of the usual suspects who tried to hinder public transport at a horse race. Do you believe that the Catholic Church should somehow be associated with these people? 2 The Catholic Church is spearheading criticism of the Australian Government. No. The Catholic Church is doing no such thing. It's not impossible that some who claim to be Catholics are opposed to the Australian Government, but it would be an arrogance to claim that they speak for the Church. 3 About 600 men are 'in limbo' because they refuse to move to their new quarters, provide free by the long-suffering Australian taxpayer. There really needs to be some balance here. 4 The people on Manus, particularly around Lorengau, are perhaps the most friendly of all in Micronesia. Asylum seekers who obey the law have nothing to fear. 5 The 'asylum seekers' have complained about the unsanitary nature of the facilities from which they are to be moved. The bathing and toilet facilities need cleaning. Well nobody cleans my bathroom except me. Why are they entitled to servants? 6 In fact, they could easily return to their home countries, and the Australian taxpayer will pay their fare. The Australian Government is aware of many 'asylum seekers' who, once granted asylum on the grounds of danger back home, soon return for a holiday in their former home towns. 7 Many 'asylum seekers' have come via the people-smuggler pipeline, from Indonesia. However, once they have arrived in Indonesia, they cease to be asylum seekers, and are able to settle there or be resettled elsewhere. 8 But no. They produce $20 000 for a ticket to Australia on the Green Funnel Line. That $20 000 would have set them up like kings in Indonesia. One wonders how a person escaping from an oppressive country would manage to take $20 000 with him. 9 Given that Indonesia is largely Muslim, one would think that these 'asylum seekers' would prefer to live where they can practise their religion, without coming to a Christian country where they will be offended by things like Christmas and Easter, and will want to introduce Sharia law, seeking to make Australia somewhat like the place they wanted to escape from. 10 It would seem obvious to people who have actually read the Qur'an that Islam requires faithful Muslims to kill Christians, just as we have seen them doing daily in the Middle East. Somehow this news seems to have escaped those bishops who claim that Islam is a religion of peace. 11 While Catholic organisations have been pushing social justice (where one group helps the poor with other people's money) there has been a campaign to destroy souls by enforcing unnatural practices on an unwilling populace. It is not impossible that Catholic schools will be forced to teach marriage 'equality', bakers will have to bake cakes for sodomy, and even florists will decorate 'gay' weddings. If a priest or bishop attempts to denounce these activities, on the basis of overseas experience he could find himself in serious trouble with the law. Hate crimes will multiply. 12 Now I am only one person, and perhaps no one agrees with me. But in my parish I have seen the attendance at Sunday Mass drop below 4%. That means 96% are on the way to damnation, unless something is done. I wonder how many of that 96% have left because of issues like those above. September 2017 Another social justice statement from the Catholic bishops. It seems that much of the output of the bishops pushes for more tax to pay for pet causes, such as illegal immigrants who are now so fearful for their lives that they are taking holidays in the places they ran away from. Fortunately the document will do little harm, as it takes great fortitude to wade through it. Our bishops seem to have the idea that we should pay more tax, so that the government will give more money to the pet causes of the bishops, thus making everyone feel good. Well, almost everyone. It has not gone unnoticed among Catholics that the bishops seem happy intruding on matters of economics, in which they have no authority and limited expertise, but never seem to get into discussion of the salvation of souls, for which they hold a divine commission. Now Catholics and other Christians support the poor. Taking more tax reduces the money they can give to those poor they choose to help. So the bishops' policy reduces the aid given to the poor, instead forcing Catholics to give money to those they would not choose to help. Can anyone explain why this is not theft? The choice is clear. Should Catholics give to those they believe are genuinely poor? Or should this money be taken from them by force to give to those chosen by bureaucrats? One of these alternatives is Catholic. April 2017 Catholic scripture, which we are bound to believe, tells us that husband and wife are one unit (Gen 2:24, Mark 10:8). That unity is represented to the world by the husband (Gen 3:16, Eph 5:22, Col 3:8). Some believe that the Catholic Church should actually follow scripture. Thus there may be concern among Catholics that our bishops have failed to oppose votes for married women. There is the problem that wives can use their votes to oppose the will of their husbands. Perhaps a solution would be for our bishops to propose that married men have two votes. This might lead to the disappearance of the anti-Christian left, and the bureaucracies which feed off it. How many bishops would lament such a loss? As many as the number of politicians? February 2017 It appears that Mr Vince Hodge is equating conscience and annulment as alternatives to dealing with the divorced-and-remarried. Conscience cannot be formed in opposition to the teachings of the Church (see Catechism 1783. Gaudium et Spes 16). We have had the spectacle in the Royal Commission of priests who, left alone to their consciences, would appear to have acquitted themselves, and presumably continued to say Mass. If a man can decide to limit his responsibility to the judgement of his conscience, what is to stop this from being applied elsewhere, with other offences? This would seem to make the sacrament of penance superfluous. I don't think that is what Christ intended. Don't we already have enough sacrilege with crowds receiving the Blessed Sacrament at Easter and Christmas without having been to Mass at other parts of the year? And without a word of warning about the awful danger to their salvation from priests and bishops? I believe that we should be free to expose error, but not to judge a person's motives unless his intention is manifest. Thus Donald Trump can legitimately say that Hillary's claim that she had only one server, that she did not have classified documents on a private server, etc were false. That is, she committed perjury. But if he then called her 'evil', he would be stepping into the province of God, Who alone judges the soul. The problem we face with 18c and other similar laws is that they judge the intention of the accused, which they have no right to do. That is, guilty until proved innocent. Suppose a mosquito landed on a man's eyelid, and he winked it away. A nearby SJW could claim sexual harassment, against which there is no defence. The intention is irrelevant. What matters is the eye of the beholder. George Orwell is back, and in residence among politicians and the media. October 2016 With the campaign for 'marriage equality' drawing to a close, is it not possible that placards are being readied for the next campaign, and maybe the one after that? What is it to be? Dietary equality (cannibalism)? Age equality (paedophila)? Life equality (Necrophilia)? Numeric equality (polygamy)? Once the floodgates are opened to one unnatural practice, how can the others be resisted? Where is the line to be drawn? And who is going to draw that line? August 2015 It's good that Bishop Saunders (page 1, 9 August) wants us to fight racism. But he seems a bit off-target. He failed to mention the racist Aboriginal dance of Adam Goodes, directed not at the opposing team, but at spectators. As for the booing, we may not agree with it, but that's what crowds do. If Bishop Saunders is claiming that this booing is somehow racist, he is pointing not to the action, which is neutral, but at the thoughts of the crowd, which only God can know. It is sometimes necessary to judge actions, but when it comes to intentions, we tend to say 'Judge not, lest ye be judged'. Does Bishop Saunders therefore owe ordinary Australians an apology? |
