Promotion of Sodomy in the Vatican

Dear Australian Bishops

In the news items below, there is the story of a homosexual 'pilgrimage' event in the Vatican, and it is reported to have the approval of Pope Leo.

There is no serious suggestion that these 'pilgrims' are brave Christian warriors earnestly resisting temptation. Or repentant sinners firmly announcing rejection of their former sin. Nothing like that at all. They look awfully like open sodomites, daring anyone to suggest that sodomy is a sin which cries out to Heaven for vengeance.

Of course it has outraged lay writers in the Catholic world. But from bishops, so far I have heard only Bishop Athanasium Schneider raising the alarm.

Is this not a situation where firm teaching is required?

Who should provide such teaching?
