No matter how often the forces of darkness seem to succeed in their evil plan to destroy souls, in the end God will triumph.
The only difference lies in the number of souls lost along the way. This essay presents the idea of Jesus conferring with His saints about the coming tribulation, which is already predetermined. However, there are decisions to be made as to timing and severity. Although this is fiction, in eternity we shall see how accurate these statements turn out.
I have gathered you, My friends, to discuss events on earth. The time for the Three Days of Darkness is close, and I ask your comments on events in different parts of the world. In this particular case, in Australia.
St Ignatius of Loyola
The country is going through a campaign to allow sodomites to form relationships which they want to call marriage. My comment is that we have a stranger phenomenon: there are many priests who say nothing about the danger to their parishioners. And some are even proposing that people vote in favour of the unnatural perversion.
St Peter Damian
We had this problem in my day. The horrible vice existed even among religious communities. At the time I received support from bishops and from Rome. There does not seem to be any determined opposition in Australia.
I have found it disturbing that the Australian Parliament dared to pass a law making sodomitic unions equal to a sacrament. Incredibly, many of those celebrating declare themselves to be Catholics. And the Australian hierarchy has said nothing about this evil.
On the same topic, we have all witnessed the phenomenon of priests molesting young people Almost all offences, about 90%, have been sodomitic. Yet the Church forbids sodomites from becoming priests. This disaster should never have happened.
We have problems also with adultery. There is a document from Rome which confuses the faithful about divorce and attempts to marry another, whether or not they can receive the Blessed Sacrament. There has been no clarification about this from the bishops.
St Vincent de Paul
I can see many elderly women working in menial jobs, when they should be relaxing in retirement. Where are their families?
But there is good news. A sportsman has spoken publicly about the consequences of unnatural acts. The Australian media and others have attacked him, but he has stuck to his story. Unfortunately his defenders are few.
The Australian bishops have taken an active part in speaking out on public affairs. However, instead of writing and speaking on matters which serve to save souls, such as topics like Hell, sin, contraception, abortion, they talk about global warming, social justice, sport and other matters which could well be left to others.
Look at the attendance at Sunday Mass. The overwhelming majority of Catholics see the inside of a church once or twice a year. And nobody is telling them that they are on the road to Hell.
St Thomas Aquinas
They seem to think they are all going to Heaven, no matter how they live. So many Catholics on contraceptives, with no idea of the consequences. Why have they not been told?
St Pius X
The laity have a right to put their concerns before their bishops. This implies a duty on the part of bishops to take their concerns seriously. But we see that they rarely receive replies to their queries.
St Francis de Sales
We have a serious problem with the inroads the evil one has made on the behaviour of women. They have ceased wanting to raise a family, and many are interested only in their careers. Children are contraceived into oblivion. The way they dress shows how far they have fallen. Many wear men's clothes to Mass. And modesty has almost disappeared. Few of them have any idea of their duties to their husbands.
St Peter Julian Eymard
It is a matter of grave concern to see the number of unauthorised innovations in the Mass. It seems that many priests regard themselves as their own pope.
And so many Catholics come to Mass only at Easter and Christmas, and almost all line up for Communion. No one tells them of the awful sacrilege committed to the physical presence of our Redeemer.
Another problem is that women have taken up positions around the altar, and men have backed away. There are women extraordinary ministers, altar girls, and sacristans. Where there are altar girls, boys retreat. Where there are no altar boys, there are few vocations.
For almost two millennia, the Blessed Sacrament was touched only by consecrated hands. Now everyone is invited to take Communion in the hand, and the consequences of this are a great explosion of sacrilege.
The effect of the Mass can be infinite. Yet there are priests who have other matters to attend to which they regard as more important than saying daily Mass.
Fr Francis of Assisi
Some of the bishops have opened up a sort of dialogue with Muslims, without having first learned the nature of Islam. Muslims do not dialogue to convert to Christianity. Bishops need to understand that if Muslims do not become Catholics, their souls are lost. There are bishops who believe, in spite of overwhelming evidence, that Islam is a religion of peace.
St Thomas More
We now see Christians losing their jobs because they are openly Christian. It will be difficult in future to become a lawyer or a doctor is they do not accept sodomy as an alternative lifestyle.
St Jean-Baptiste de la Salle
Australia has a comprehensive set of Catholic schools. Once they were run by brothers and nuns, and sometimes by priests. The schools we see are run and staffed by people who have lost the faith. Many are living in a permanent state of sin, and some are sodomites. What are these people teaching the children?
We see the phenomenon of teachers assuming the parental right to teach sex education, some of it quite explicit, and likely to lead to promiscuity.
St Leonard of Port Maurice
The clergy speak and act as if all are going to Heaven. Yet so many of the Church fathers and saints have told them that most are lost. Few enter via the narrow gate. As a result, few are praying for the salvation of souls.
St Catherine Laboure
Jesus, His Mother, and His saints, have appeared from time to time on earth. So has Satan, who tries to overwhelm the messages of Heaven. Many in Australia are following unapproved apparitions and phenomena, such as those of Medjugorje, Garabandal, Bayside and the Marian Movement of Priests. These people even meet in churches, without any opposition from priests.
The music of the Mass has greatly deteriorated. Instruments such as drums and guitars do not enhance an atmosphere of reverence. Nor do the banal jingles which masquerade as hymns.
St John Vianney
And yet I see signs of hope. There are small pockets of resistance throughout the community. These are often dismissed by their parish priests, and ignored by their bishops. One day these might join together, in an attempt to bring the seriousness of the situation to others.
Thank you, My friends. The chastisement will not be long in coming. We shall watch over the families of those who resist the evils of society.
